Kasumi is a character cut from the storyline of BloodRayne 2. The character was originally designed to be included after killing Slezz, but was scrapped due to time constraints. It was designed that, after beating Slezz, a creature called Kasumi would crawl out and interact with Rayne. It would help Rayne and give her some background information on the Cult of Kagan. Shortly afterwards, a parasitic creature called Lockdown would burst out of Kasumi, killing her and proceed to attack Rayne. Rayne would then have to fight it while sliding down some sewer pipes.
