Khen Rigzin is a secondary character of the games Nocturne and Blair Witch Volume I: Rustin Parr.
He is an agent of Spookhouse, an organization that protects the United States from supernatural threats domestically and all around the world.
Appearance[]
Khen is an elderly Asian man—who despite his advanced age—still appears relatively young, is completely bald, and has deep-set eyes. In Blair Witch Volume 1, he looks exactly the same except with less pale skin and a long white mustache.
He wears a simple white shirt beneath brown monk robes.
Personality[]
Khen is the most quiet, serene man in the agency. His years have taught him to quietly observe and rarely react. He trains the other agents with a calm, soothing voice. He’s happy to share his wisdom and advice with all his colleagues, particularly Haystack.
History[]
Khen Rigzin is the product of almost a century of martial arts training. Calm and collected, Khen’s almost pacifistic nature instills peace in his allies. In Spookhouse missions, he serves as healer, utilizing ancient techniques. When called upon to fight, Khen moves faster than the eye can see to dispatch opponents with a speed and efficiency that elicits envy from his fellow monster hunters. Much of his history is unknown but he did participate in the Nepalese Horucide of 1921. He shortly joined Spookhouse the same year.
Plot[]
Nocturne[]
First seen in 1927, Khen was the Spookhouse sparring room overseeing Haystack train with Moloch. When Stranger talks with him, he talks about a little bit about the history of Moloch and his nature as a demon, as well as why Haystack pushes himself to fight Moloch despite being clearly outmatched and yet to land a punch on him.
In 1942 The Stranger finds Spookhouse HQ infiltrated and its members killed, including Khen Rigzin.
Blair Witch Volume I: Rustin Parr[]
He appears again in 1941 to oversee Doc Holliday and the Stranger Instructional Execution with Colonel Hapscomb and General [[ Biggs]].
Powers and Abilities[]
Despite being a century old, Khen’s age does not hinder him in battle. He fights as if he was a man in his prime, but far more deadly.
- Super Agility: The speed of Khen’s reflexes far surpass any normal man of his age.
- Super Speed: He’s described to be able to move faster than the eye can see. Using this speed to his advantage to efficiently dispatch monsters. Even his colleagues envy his speed.
- Peak Human Strength: Khen’s advanced age has not withered his strength. His strong and deadly strikes are enough to kill monsters.
Skills[]
- Master Martial Artist
- Expert Healer
Weaknesses[]
Being only a mortal man, Khen possesses every vulnerability humans have.
Trivia[]
- By being a mentor of Tibetan origin, Mynce from BloodRayne is similiar to him.
